According to Bild, following Adeyemi's departure, Borussia Dortmund hopes to pursue contract extensions earlier to allow for more organized planning.
The report indicates that three players whose contracts with the club run until 2028 are on Dortmund's agenda: Kobel, Anton, and Ryerson. Borussia Dortmund hopes to finalize contract extensions with these three key players as soon as possible, avoiding the protracted negotiations that characterized discussions with Adeyemi.
According to Bild, negotiations with Anton are expected to be the most straightforward. The center-back has established himself as a regular starter at Borussia Dortmund and has taken charge of the defense during Schlotterbeck's injury absences. Ryerson's contract extension talks are also expected to begin in November. The player has attracted occasional interest from England, and an extension could quickly dispel such speculation.
Bild also believes that Kobel is highly likely to sign a new contract. The goalkeeper would only seriously consider other options if a top club had an opening for a starting position. To date, this has not occurred, and the 28-year-old is expected to extend his contract beyond 2028 in the near term.
