Burnley have secured the EFL Championship title after beating play-off hopefuls Blackburn 0-1 at Ewood Park on Tuesday evening.
Vincent Kompany's side had already secured promotion to next season's Premier League but had been waiting to clinch the required points needed to be crowned as division champions.
Tuesday's away victory marks a terrific season for the club who have demolished all previously held expectations that Manchester City legend Kompany might struggle in his first managerial stint in England.
The visitors took the lead in the 66th minute after substitute Manuel Benson cut inside off the right-wing to lash home what would be the eventual crowning winner.
Blackburn fought to spoil the title party with a barrage of late crosses into the Burnley box but failed to significantly test the robust league leader's defence.
