Match Report
A brace from teenager Joe Willock set up a 3-0 win for Arsenal at Blackpool in the third round of the FA Cup.
The game a Bloomfield Road ebbed and flowed pleasingly during the opening stages, despite the surreal atmosphere caused by vast numbers of Blackpool fans continuing to boycott games at Bloomfield Road in protest against controversial owner Owen Oyston.
Willock found the breakthrough and the 19-year-old midfielder's second opportunistic strike in the 37th minute effectively ended the contest.
League One Blackpool continued to press forward gamely but Alex Iwobi completed the scoring eight minutes from time.

Willock was already talented last season but this year he has progressed so much and is now getting his rewards. Much more tactically aware now and makes excellent runs. his one of the most improved players for Arsenal. He’s added goals to his game. Had a great end to 2018 and now a great start to 2019. Hope it continues. he is great prospect

An incident before the game relating to the Blackpool's fan protest on top of the bus which was to carry the Arsenal squad and more drama as Blackpool fans protested against their club's owner outside their own stadium but despite that some three thousand Blackpool fans decided to watch the game alongside over five thousand Arsenal fans in the seventeen thousand seater stadium, Bloomfield Road. Some bad news earlier for the gunners when Koscielny who was supposed to start the game was ruled out for the match due to some back injury during warm up. Arsenal lead by two goals both scored by Willock who performed well during the first half.Ramsey and Cech performed well but Arsenal's defence is still weak and the youngster Nketiah missed some great chances to score who was replaced by Lacazette. The League One side Blackpool made a couple of chances where they could have scored but Cech played his part well.Kolasinac received an unnecessary yellow card in the fifty sixth minute on a terrible pitch.Iwobi scored the third goal who the commentators and Blackpool fans thought was offside.
