Bored Man Utd fan spotted getting a trim in Wembley stands during 'dead game'

A bored Manchester United fan was spotted getting a haircut in the stands at Wembley during the semi-final win over Brighton.

Fans expecting an FA Cup classic were left bitterly disappointed on Saturday. Neither side looked as if they wanted to score as normal time ended 0-0 with little to separate the two.

Even extra-time wasn't enough to put an end to the slog-fest as both teams missed big chances. The tie trawled on past 120 minutes before the Red Devils were able to cement a 7-6 victory on penalties and earn a spot in the final.

But it was all too much of a snoozefest for one fan, who appeared to be having his hair cut in the stands.

A stunning snap began circulating on social media during the game of a United supporter seated in a barber's gown. The man behind him appeared to be focusing on cutting his hair, as one fan tweeted: “Someone's getting a trim at the game ffs.”

The other United fans in attendance appeared to be awestruck, whipping out their phones to take pictures of the bizarre scenes. Meanwhile, some on social media sympathised due to the dull nature of the game being played in front of them.

“Game's so dead someone's getting a trim,” one tweeted. Another replied: “Boring game. Can't blame him,” while a third joked: “When you have an FA cup semi final at 5 and a first date at 8.”

A fourth added: “Man had plans to get a cut after 90mins but the game went penalties and bruh decided to just do it right there.”

It is unknown how the fan in question was able to bring scissors inside the stadium. It also remains to be seen whether he finished his haircut in time to witness and celebrate Victor Lindelof's penalty shootout winner, which put Erik ten Hag's side within one game of clinching their second piece of silverware this season.
