Brazilian media: Brazil national team brings 10 tons of equipment to the US

According to Brazil's Globo Esporte, the Brazilian national team will arrive in the United States this Tuesday local time, bringing around 10 tons of equipment and supplies for the World Cup. The Brazilian Football Confederation will establish an advanced injury treatment and support system for the team in every US city where they play. This batch of supplies weighs almost twice as much as it did four years ago at the Qatar World Cup.

The largest World Cup ever also requires teams to prepare more luggage. When the Brazilian national team arrives in the United States this Tuesday, they will bring about 10 tons of various equipment and supplies. Such a large amount of luggage is no accident. If Brazil advances all the way to the final on July 19, the entire delegation will be away from home for 48 days.

This batch of luggage weighs almost twice as much as what the Brazilian Football Confederation brought to Qatar four years ago. Back then, the Brazilian team was based in just one city, the capital, Doha, and the scale of their jersey equipment was smaller. This time, the Brazilian team's training equipment features two different series: one with the Nike logo and the other with the Jordan logo. Most of the supplies Brazil is taking to the World Cup are intended for the health and sports performance departments. This equipment will be transported to every city where the Brazilian team plays. During the group stage, the Brazilian team will travel to New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Miami.

Brazilian physiologist Guilherme Passos said: "The New York Red Bulls training center has strong technological infrastructure and excellent hardware conditions, as does the hotel we are staying in, but it is impossible for a hotel to be fully equipped with a medical department. Every time we arrive at a hotel, we set up our own health support department, bringing in equipment for physiotherapy, lasers, ultrasound, and shockwave therapy. Preparations for this "luggage" began long ago. Staff from the Brazilian Football Confederation had previously inspected the training centers and hotel facilities to be used during the World Cup. The Brazilian team's luggage also includes training equipment, medicines, decorations for marketing activities, and hundreds of team uniforms.

The Brazilian delegation consists of 91 people, including players, coaching staff, health and sports performance department staff, security personnel, and members of the administrative and management departments.
