Kevin Schade scored twice as Brentford boosted their European hopes after surviving a nervy finish to hold out for a 4-3 victory over Manchester United.
Match Report
Frank's side survive late fightback to boost European hopes.
Yoane Wissa was also on target as Thomas Frank's side recorded their third straight win, though they were given a late fright at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Mason Mount's 14th-minute strike was cancelled out by a Luke Shaw own-goal, while Schade's header completed the turnaround in the 33rd minute.
The German nodded in his second - and 10th Premier League goal of the season - in the 70th minute, while Michael Kayode got in behind the defence to lay on a tap-in for Wissa four minutes later.
Alejandro Garnacho scored a stunning long-range effort in the 82nd minute, while Amad Diallo gave United hope of an improbable fightback in stoppage time, but it was too late for the visitors.
The Bees climb a place to 10th in the Premier League table – five places higher than Ruben Amorim's side, who remain 15th.
Data Debrief: Youthful United come unstuck against buoyant Bees
With an average age of 22 years and 270 days, United's starting XI was the third-youngest any side has ever named for a Premier League match, behind only Middlesbrough (20 years, 181 days against Fulham in May 2006) and Arsenal (22 years and 237 days against Portsmouth in May 2009).
That included Chido Obi who, at 17 years and 156 days, became the club's youngest-ever starter in the division.
Things appeared to be going to plan for United when Mount scored his first Premier League goal since March 2024, which, ironically, also came against Brentford at the Gtetch Community Stadium in March 2024.
However, the Bees were not to be denied as they registered their 15th league win of the season, their joint-highest tally in a single campaign in the competition (also 2022-23).
Their victory was capped by Wissa, who has now scored in four successive Premier League appearances for the first time.

Mathematically this team can't be relegated and may also play the champions league next season😂, Manchester United needs to investigated for stealing a spot that doesn’t belong to them 😀😀🙆♂️🙆♂️

Those Mocking united don't understand football, at this time of the season, priority is needed, ask yourself what matters most. Win matches in the league that makes no difference or win the Europa league and bounce to champions league. Brentford needs the match to get a place in the conference.
