Match reports
Jurgen Locadia ended a 17-game wait for a Premier League goal to earn Brighton and Hove Albion a 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Boxing Day.
The Gunners have failed to win four of their last five league matches on the road and they were guilty of throwing away two points on Wednesday as Locadia profited from Stephan Lichtsteiner's mistake to end a 17-game goalless run.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – the Premier League's top goalscorer – had put the Gunners ahead, but holding onto all three points proved a step too far for Unai Emery's stuttering side.

What to expect when you play with 4 different formations in a match? we start off as a 4-3-1-2, switch to a 4-3-3 at halftime, then to a 4-3-2-1 when ramsey comes on, then a 5-2-2-1 when ainslwy comes on. the problem is, we just dont have enough players to compliment eachother. we dont have two natural wingers, only iwobi. Maitland niles is a wingback at best. we lack the number of centrebacks. we have one fully healthy, the other at about 60% (kosc) and mavro was not ready. we have two strikers, but both like playing as target men. xhaka likes to be a deep lying playmaker, but torreira holds that position. we have a creative midfielder in ozil, but he doesnt have options outwide we must sign a 1-2 CBs and a Winger ASAP

Arsenal need to get an experienced ball playing midfielder, a center back and a winger( Pepe, Dembele, Suso or Almiron) in this January window. These buys is a must if they are ready to move up in premier league table. Iwobi should be sent on loan, Mihkitaryan and Ozil should be sold, Koscienyl and Lichsteiner should be retired, Sokratis should be benched or playing from the bench, the guy defends only with body without sense and that’s why he has received more yellow cards. Guendouzzi should be benched, the guy lacks creativity, only has work rate, his midfield ingenuity is too basic and it’s too erroneous to put the attacking responsibility of the team on this young lad. He needs more experience. Basically, Arsenal need a tough defense coach, pray Holding and Mavro come back fitter and stronger and get Duffy/Maguire/Manolas/.

Lichtsteiner has to go useless, nonchalant ,not great, overrated, what's the point of subbing Koscienly for Maitland Niles when Lichtsteiner can be subbed .Has Emery lost his magic. I have a feeling we will bounce back. still a gunner.

after watching today's match, I know arsenal doesn't only need to reshuffle their defense but even reshuffle their midfield, the only place arsenal is good is in attack, that why they are a little better than manu wit morinho and other average teams

Arsenal we are suffering with injuries , so as usual Lacazette and Auba play wonderful football trying to penetrate Liverpool's defense , with the help of Özil , Özil and Ramsey play wonderful to and they drop back and go forward to help Auba and Lacazette , with the help of Kolisinac , Kolisinac and Holding will learn to play with each other well and will learn quick because Holding is a quick learner , and so they will defend , with the help of Maitland , Maitland and Lucas will play good because they both have tensity and speed , with the help of Sokratis , Sokratis and Mustafi are good together . #ArsenalvsLiverpool [Stadium]

Some stats here🧐: 1. Arsenal have gone nine away games without keeping a clean sheet in the Premier League - only between February and October 2010 have they had a longer such run (11) 2. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been directly involved in 30 goals in 32 Premier League appearances for Arsenal (23 goals, 7 assists).
