Brighton have reportedly agreed a deal to sign exciting teenage prospect Ibrahim Osman from Danish club Nordsjaelland.
Osman has been pursued by a number of clubs after breaking into Nordsjaelland's first team, but it is Brighton who are set to secure the 19-year-old's signature.
According to The Athletic, they have agreed a €19.5m (£17m) fee with Nordsjaelland for the Ghanaian forward, and he has already completed his medical, with the move set to official go through this summer.
Osman has played 29 games across all competitions this season, scoring four goals and registering five assists.
He has also gained European experience by playing in the Conference League, and he scored in a 7-1 win against Ludogorets in October.
Osman usually operates from either wing, but is also capable of playing through the middle.
His versatility is likely to suit Roberto De Zerbi's style of play at Brighton, with the Italian having become known for switching systems and tactics during matches.
This is not the first time that Brighton and Nordsjaelland have done business, as the Seagulls also signed Simon Adingra from their Danish counterparts in 2022.
He was subsequently sent on loan to play for Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium, but has returned to the south coast to establish himself in Roberto De Zerbi's first team this season.
Adingra has scored four top flight goals in 2023-24, but is currently away at the Africa Cup of Nations representing Ivory Coast.
They are into the semi-finals of the continental tournament and will play DR Congo later today for a place in the final.
