Bruno’s agent in talks over Man Utd EXIT as Bayern make first step to sign him

Bayern have opened talks with Miguel Pinho, agent of Bruno Fernandes. In addition to Bayern, Barcelona have also expressed an interest in the midfielder. 

Bruno Fernandes will now start preparing for the Euros with Portugal, while his agent could finalize his move away from Manchester United.

From a source close to the player, both Bayern and Barcelona have made contact with Bruno Fernandes to enquire about the conditions of a transfer, and may soon make concrete moves.

The midfielder's future at Old Trafford is uncertain ahead of what could be a busy summer for the Red Devils.

Fernandes was made United captain by Erik ten Hag last year but he could be tempted by a move away.

And Bayern have opened talks with his agent, Miguel Pinho, over a summer transfer according to O Jogo.

The report adds Barcelona are also interested in signing Fernandes and could open talks soon.

SunSport understands the United skipper is considering a summer move after four-and-a-half seasons at the club.

Fernandes stunned the club last month by hinting he could quit after the Euros for a fresh challenge.

The 29-year-old said he would wait until after the tournament was over before making his final decision on his future.

But he dropped a worrying hint his Old Trafford spell could be approaching an end as he warned the club to match his ambition.

He wrote in a piece for The Players' Tribune: "I just want my expectations to fit with the expectations of the club.

"If you go talk to any fan, they will tell you the same thing. We want to compete for the league.

"We want to be playing Champions League football. We want to be in cup finals. That is the standard.

Bayern have looked to raid the Premier League for talent in recent years with manager Vincent Kompany plucked from Burnley following the signings of Harry Kane and Eric Dier.
