Bruno Fernandes is being chased by Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal this summer after meeting with the players' representatives, and the player has already admitted he wants to play in another league at some point before retiring
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has already made it clear he wants to play in Brazil before he retires as Saudi Arabian outfit Al Hilal continue their attempts to lure the playmaker to the Middle East. Fernandes has been the saviour of United's turbulent season with 19 goals in all competitions and 15 assists, helping the team reach the Europa League final against Tottenham.
But the Portugal international has also been linked with an exit from Old Trafford as he prepares to enter the final two years of his contract, with Al Hilal pushing for a move.
Mirror Football reported how officials from the Saudi Pro League club have lined up a third meeting with Fernandes' representatives and are refusing to give up on the prospect of a summer move.
Saudi Pro League president Fahad bin Nafel is understood to have met with Fernandes' agent Miguel Ruben and lawyer Caetano Maria on Monday to present a lucrative three-year deal - though that proposal was rejected by his inner circle.
United are not planning to sell Fernandes and see him as crucial to their future plans, with the midfielder committed to the club for the duration of his contract.
However, the player has confirmed he does intend to leave United one day and sees himself playing in the Brazilian league because the football is "attractive and electric" and says he watches it when he can.
He said: "Whenever I can, I follow it, because I find Brazilian football attractive, electric football, with a lot of quality, joy, very one-on-one.
"It’s pure football. And I think that now, with the coaches that are there, not only the Portuguese, but also Brazilians, are increasingly developing in the tactical part.
"I don’t really like talking about the distant future, but it’s like I said. It’s attractive football, very interesting. The only thing is that the trips are very long there in Brazil! There are many competitions, many clubs that play Libertadores and Sudamericana, very good competitions. I’m not saying no, because Brazilian football is very attractive, and we never know the future."
For now, Fernandes will be totally focused on United's huge upcoming Europa League final, which will come against Premier League rivals Tottenham in Bilbao on May 21.
Amorim has previously insisted the club want to keep Fernandes and won't entertain any bids. He said: "Our idea didn't change. We want to keep the best players - and Bruno is clearly one of the top players in the world. We want Bruno here.
"It is easy to understand [his importance] - not just because of the numbers but the way he plays and the importance he has during his five years here. It's normal that a lot of clubs want a player like Bruno. He is a leader and he's the captain, so he's really important. He is a top player, we need top players."

I agree with Bruno. Brazilian club football is rapidly evolving. When the tactical aspects eventually develops, the world will be talking about the Brazilian Serie A by 5 years' time

Bruno Fernandes should get it straight on his football career before making a silly mistake like other footballers who went from being the best to a mere player despite their achievement. I think he should be more focus about contributing to Man united success by winning trophies or go to Real Madrid and end his career there just like Luka Modric and the rest.
