Bruno Fernandes' agent has held talks with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal and the Manchester United captain is understood to be seriously considering their lucrative contract offer
Ruben Amorim has told Manchester United chiefs to find other ways of making money rather than selling star man Bruno Fernandes. Fernandes, 30, has an offer on the table from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal worth a staggering £700,000 per week - and the Portuguese midfielder is seriously considering accepting it.
Their proposal of a three-year deal would see Fernandes earn a whopping £200m while linking up with international team-mate Ruben Neves and potentially Cristiano Ronaldo. Earlier this week, talks between his agent, Miguel Pinho, and Al-Hilal representatives, reportedly stretched late into the night at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh.
They'd would also be willing to pay United £100m, a transformational sum given their financial predicament. But Amorim doesn't want the Red Devils or Fernandes to give into temptation.
Speaking after United ended their post-season tour of Asia with a 3-1 victory over Hong Kong, which Fernandes played the opening 45 minutes of, Amorim was asked if fans had seen the last of their captain in action.
"I don't think so, I don't know for sure. Nobody knows but I don't think so," the Red Devils boss said. "I think he is seeing us taking some actions to change all the things and I think he saw that and I think he wants to stay.
"He is saying no to a lot of things but he shows he wants to win. He's really young, he's really good he needs to be in the best league in the world."
Amorim was then asked if United, who've failed to qualify for Europe for the first time in 11 years, were in a position to turn down the kind of money which Al-Hilal would be willing to pay for Fernandes.
"Yes, we can find another way to earn money," he replied.
Should Manchester United sell Bruno Fernandes? Have your say in the comments section.
"Of course I'm the manager, I'm the coach but sometimes it's the decision of the player. But of course I talk with him, I explain things. I just have that feeling if he wants to stay.
"Of course in a lot of games this season he was so frustrated but he knows what we are doing.
"The feeling is every time I speak with him he wants to continue at Manchester United but you never know."

Bruno should go and start a new life with his family in Saudi. Even that 100m can still brings back a better players than bruno to united and still have some changes left behind to get extra player, united needs to rebuild are teams so that we can stand back on our feet. Take a look at PSG teams with young players they perform wonderfully, so mu needs a recirculation

Amorim will soon run away from MANCHESTER. He will one day pack his bags 💼 and escape thru the windows 🪟 back to Portugal 🇵🇹…. That’s where he had peace of mind. Uk 🇬🇧 to him has been a disaster and it’s not even ending anytime soon

Let him go, because If he stays and things get worse he will negatively impact the rest of the team. We have players in there who are willing to fight regardless of any conditions and we do not want them to be affected by double-minded players. Let Bruno go, and buy a new midfielder who is willing to play for United, and who is EPL tested, and please Amorim should also leave.
Pls shout up Bring in a replacement Then he can go.. Stop talking like Its easy

Bruno Fernandez should choose what is best for him with his future , to get a huge salary and become rich or to remain at United and earn less salary with a team that will take some years to play with the biggest in European competitions , earning 700 thousand a weak is bargain at his age 30 .its his decision that will get him better

I mean 100m for bruno is a great amount..and bruno is a UCl level player and definetly united is not on that level …so bruno will always stay frustrated no matter he performs elite level…..anyway cunha can give somewhat near to what bruno given to United…..united can use that 100m on Osimieh and and Mbeumu

Bruno is ageing and in his 30 , United will make a huge mistake again, by keeping Bruno. 100 millions is enough sum, that the club can use to get another player
We have clueless people up there!!!
