Cristiano Ronaldo and Jude Bellingham have been pipped to top spot in a new survey regarding the 'UK's sexiest footballer'.

While the Al-Nassr and Real Madrid stars are traditionally thought of as two of the most marketable profiles on the planet, they did not clinch first place in this study.

Moreover, the likes of Man City's Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland also made the top 10 of the list but where nowhere near the star in top spot.

The survey was conducted by Slotzilla, who quizzed 2,500 British adults over the matter - taking in factors such as physique, charisma and personal style.

The results of the study showed that Chelsea star Cole Palmer is in fact the 'Sexiest Footballer' among UK fans after receiving 19 per cent of the vote.

Real Madrid star Bellingham - who was recently spotted watching a match with girlfriend Ashlyn Castro - came second with 17 per cent of the vote.

A quintet of Bellingham's England teammates follow after the midfielder in the list with Grealish, Declan Rice, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Bukayo Saka and Marcus Rashford filling out the places from third to seventh.

The Three Lions stars picked up 15 per cent, 12 per cent, 10 per cent, eight per cent and seven per cent respectively.

Meanwhile, Al-Nassr star Ronaldo made his way on the list in 8th - having picked up six per cent of the votes.

City star Haaland is ninth in the voting, picking up just four per cent of votes. However, the study notes that he topped the charts in Scotland for his 'powerful physique and striking features'.

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe finishes off the list picking up just two per cent of the votes.

While Chelsea star Palmer might be hitting the heights off the pitch, he's endured a difficult time on it in recent weeks.

After Chelsea thrashed Southampton 4-0 on Tuesday night, the England star opened up on his difficult run of form.

Taking to Instagram after the game, Palmer shared a photo of himself looking slightly dejected on the pitch.

He added the caption: 'Well done lads +3. Don't worry I will be back.'

Palmer, 22, has enjoyed a stunning 18 months since signing for the Blues from Manchester City in the summer of 2023 for £42.5million.

The attacking midfielder has scored 39 goals and added 21 assists, regularly leading from the front at Stamford Bridge.

However, Palmer has failed to score or assist across his past seven games in all competitions, with the 21-year-old undergoing what seems to be his first dip for the club.
