Wrong. Football was already famous before Ronaldo. Don't discredit the legacy left behind by the likes of Pele, Maradona, Johan Gruyff, Carlos Alberto, Eusebio, Best, Gazgoine, Paolo Rossi, Roberto Baggio and all those greats who graced the football pitches before Ronaldo was.
