In the 10th round of Serie A fixtures, Inter Milan secured a hard-fought 2-1 away victory over Hellas Verona thanks to an own goal. Following the match, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who provided the corner kick assist and was named Man of the Match, spoke to DAZN.
"We played a decent game. It's always tough here, especially with kick-off at half past twelve. We won with a bit of luck, and we're pleased about that," said Çalhanoğlu.
What about that assist? Was that your usual style of pass, or did you practise it specifically?
"I've had a bit of natural talent since childhood, but I've put in a lot of work on penalties, free kicks and long-range shots. Winning the match is crucial, and we hope to reach the position we deserve."
