In an official letter, FECAFOOT, chaired by Samuel Eto’o, has sent a strong message to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and its president, Fouzi Lekjaa.
“On behalf of the Cameroonian delegation and Cameroonian supporters, I would like to extend our respectful greetings and sporting congratulations, in a spirit of fair play and mutual consideration,” the Cameroonian body wrote in its letter.
Eto’o further expressed his gratitude for the organization of this Moroccan edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.
“We also wish to express our deep gratitude for the exemplary quality of the organization of this competition, as well as for the fraternal, warm and benevolent welcome extended to our team, our delegation and our supporters by the Moroccan people,” emphasised Eto’o.
Knocked out by the Atlas Lions in the quarter-finals on Friday, January 9 (2-0), the Indomitable Lions leave the competition with an encouraging run, better than in the Ivory Coast edition in 2023, where they were stopped in the round of 16.

No need to waste other people’s time and resources to play a tournament that has already been rigged and arranged for Morocco… CAF should hand it to them now, let everyone just go home.
