Joao Cancelo has passed his Manchester City medical, and is set to be announced tomorrow.
The new Blues right back flew into Manchester yesterday and was given the once-over by medical staff this morning before being shown round the City Football Academy this afternoon.
And it is likely – though not certain – that the Portugal international will be presented to fans at the stadium tomorrow afternoon.
City are planning to coordinate the announcement with Juventus doing the same with Danilo, who is in Turin finalising his move in the opposite direction.
Although described as a swap, and clearly linked, the two deals are separate, with Cancelo – according to Italian sources – costing the Blues a knock-down £27million.
Cancelo is seen as a challenger for Kyle Walker's right back position, while Danilo was more of a reliable and steady stand-in.

Being a city fan cancelo is useless if he plays right back. He'll good if will starts learning how city plays coz Juventus game is far different then city's game.

If we can keep Sane and have a fit Mendy, this season will be a breeze

One decision Juventus will surely regret... I don't understand how Ronaldo let this deal happen because Cancelo is one of the most versatile guy playing on the right side of the pitch and he can also play left back

Good business for both club , Danilo is a very good squad player but we hope joe Cancello can supersede him at City. Now Pep have another option if he want to use Walker as one of 3 Center Defenders , Cancello on the right and Mendy on the left .

Have you noticed that Juventus have become something else. 1st it was their jersey, absolutely ugly 3 kinda jerseys and then selling all this great players. Next will be sell the club itself

I don't see the reason Manchester city are willing to spend much on a right back while walker is constantly performing well.... the real problem is at left back
