Fabio Capello was interviewed by Aldo Cazzullo at the Teatro Comunale in Ferrara, recalling anecdotes from his football career.

"At Wembley, I once scored a goal in front of 20,000 staff members. The strongest player I've ever partnered with? Rivera."

"Leaving Real Madrid to return to Milan was the biggest mistake of my life."

"Cassano? He caused so many absurd things that I can hardly remember them all."

Talking about Ronaldo

"When Ronaldo first arrived at Real Madrid, I asked him: 'How much did you weigh when you won the World Cup?' '84 kilograms.' 'And now?' '94 kilograms.' He was a negative leader, never meeting training standards, and dragging his teammates into relaxation. So the president and I decided to send him away. Berlusconi called me: 'How is Ronaldo?' Mr. President, he is very good, but he does not play a good role model, always partying in nightclubs, and he is fat, and his mind is full of women. The next day, Gazzetta dello Sport published: Ronaldo joined Milan."

"Remember Berlusconi? He was so good, he did something unique. Many people have tried to do television, but no one has succeeded. He founded the TV station and also signed Bongiorgio. When he first met the team, he said: 'We want to build the strongest team in the world.' We thought he was crazy at the time... It was a dream, and he made the dream a reality."
