Carragher rips into Hannibal for 'brain dead' decision-making...

Jamie Carragher pointed the finger at Hannibal Mejbri for costing his Burnley side a valiant point after his 'moment of madness' handed Liverpool a stoppage time victory.

Scott Parker's side, even when reduced to 10 men in the second half, were digging in to frustrate the Premier League champions.

But all that hard work was undone with Hannibal's handball inside the box in the 93rd minute, allowing Mohamed Salah to step up and win it 1-0 for Liverpool.

'Burnley don't deserve that,' Carragher said on commentary for Sky Sports, where he labelled Hannibal's decision as 'brain dead'.

'It's a moment of madness! What is he doing?'

Fellow Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane also had no sympathy for the former Manchester United player.

'Liverpool lacked quality, their final pass was so off today – but we were sitting there thinking they would get one more chance,' Keane said afterwards.

'And with Burnley, there's a bit of madness at the end just like at Old Trafford. When you come up, you have got to give yourself a bit of a chance.

'It's not as if Hannibal's unlucky. It's madness, it's cost them a point. And a point would have felt like a win. So it does knock them.

'Liverpool stuck at it, you have to keep going until the end. That's what the top teams do.'
