Casemiro writes 'asshole' to De Gea in message that has gone viral in Manchester

David De Gea, who is yet to renew his contract with Manchester United, has shared on his Instagram story a message left for him by teammate Casemiro.

"I love you, asshole," Casemiro wrote in a note to the Spanish goalkeeper.

De Gea posted the message from the former Real Madrid midfielder and replied to him in front of his more than 15 million Instagram followers: "I love you too, bro."

Casemiro also shared his viral "asshole" to De Gea with his nearly 21 million Instagram followers and a message to the Spanish goalkeeper: "You're the best".

These crossover messages between De Gea and Casemiro have gone down well with Manchester United fans, as they see them as a reflection of the good atmosphere between the players in the Old Trafford dressing room.

Casemiro recently returned from suspension for United which is crucial to their attempts to stay in the top four of the Premier League and also win the FA Cup and the Europa League.
