Iker Casillas claimed that he along with Gigi Buffon and Petr Cech are the last surviving rock stars as the veterans head into the twilight years of their careers.
The former Real Madrid shot-stopper, aged 37, is in the final year of his contract with Porto.
"We are the last rock stars, the oldest that are still playing at least in Europe," he said.
"You have to enjoy the time that you still have left.
"At 37 though you are nearer to retiring than continuing to play."
He admitted that good diet and plenty of rest are crucial in helping him to keep playing which are demanded by Porto coach Sergio Conceicao.
Meanwhile, he refused to discuss the problems that he had during his time at Madrid with then coach Jose Mourinho.
"After five or six years, you shouldn't talk about this, it is absurd now," he added.

Indeed ๐ ๐ these are world class keepers and would forever be remembered as one of the best with the likes of buffon casillas and Cech they didn't only grace football but showed that they had the quality and spirit I remember their times at Chelsea juve and Madrid ๐ ๐ We would definitely miss them whether we like it or not
