Everything Gerard Pique says or does has a reaction on social media, and upon revealing his new hairstyle it was Iker Casillas who popped up to troll him.
The Barcelona defender uploaded a photo to Instagram showing off his new look, with shorter hair and no beard, and captioned it "younger".
Among many jokes and comments, including from current and former teammates, Casillas wrote "mounger".
The former Spain teammates often enjoy a bit of banter on social media, poking fun at each other in good humour.
The Real Madrid legend wasn't the only one to laugh at Pique's expense, however, with Riqui Puig adding "you look like a youth player".
Many of the comments were in that vein, joking that Barcelona's No.3 looked like an adolescent, since we have become so used to seeing him with facial hair.
