Cavani's agent confirms he's joining Man Utd

The Uruguay striker has left Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer and is set to finalise his switch to Old Trafford 

tonight.

His brother, also his agent, the former Uruguay international Walter Guglielmone told Futbol Insider: "It's true. There is an agreement."

Cavani, who hasn't played since March, will undergo a medical at United later today.

It is not yet known how many years his contract is for, but initial thoughts are one year with a possible one year extension which can be triggered by the club.

The striker, 33, spent seven years at PSG after previously playing in Italy for Napoli and Palermo.

But he has always fancied a crack at the Prem - after scoring 200 goals for the French club.

Leeds were also pursuing the experienced forward.

He also held talks with Benfica, he claimed.
