Gareth Bale has been heavily criticised for his performances on the pitch and his controversial behaviour off it in the last couple of years, but Dani Ceballos stood by his Real Madrid teammate, who has attracted interest from Premier League clubs.
Ceballos, who is currently on loan at Arsenal, has pointed the contribution of the 30-year-old winger in Los Blancos' recent Champions League successes.
"[The Premier League] is a league that suits him quite well, but he's an important player for Real Madrid," Ceballos told Deportes Cuatro.
"Let's not forget everything he has given the club.
"Whoever does not trust him has to put on the Champions League finals.
"He has given enough to the club."
