Maurizio Sarri reinstated Alvaro Morata to the team with Olivier Giroud ruled out, yet the service to the Spaniard was poor as Saints dug deep to hold on for a well-earned point.
A tame first half passed with few flashpoints, though Chelsea did see Willian forced off on the same day the club announced the signing of Christian Pulisic, who will arrive at the end of the season.

sometimes I feel so ashamed to be a supporter of Chelsea. Normal points u have to get and you keep dropping. Poor and Lazy performance today. We are starting to make weaker teams have confidence at Stamford bridge. We've dropped more points at home than away,why? If you want to be a top contender, these are the matches that shows. Our away matches have different approaches to our home games which is very very bad. Just few days ago, look at how we moved the ball faster against Crystal palace. And compare to today's home match. So so poor. I had hopes of us still being title contenders, but after today's match, may be I was daydreaming. Another lazy and unacceptable performance from Chelsea. They should be ashamed. Hazard and the whole team was very bad. This is unacceptable, No!

we can blame the players so much but the coach is too old styled one never study a game better enough. EPL is not a try and error league this chain smoker should know at Chelsea coaches doesn't take such mess without sack option and he will be the waist performer of all. How can these stupid called board members priorities pulisic instead of finding replacement to these dolls called third grade strikers. All the willian and the like are better player first we need replacement to these two venomless strikers and real replacement to Cesc Fabr not these chicken jo. why buying and loan on the spot does it means the team is good already this time? This is a waist of resource just take that money and buy Icardi and bring him as soon as this January transfer window, poor management.

Jorginho is an absolute mess. He has no single influence in the midfield. I pointed this out before there no creativity of any sort from the midfield. Chelsea needs a much better midfielder who create chances. Also Barkley is playing his scared to takes chances. Sarri can’t have guys also passing the football into the box. There is no dynamics in this style play. The players should practice more shooting out of range. This Team is such a disgrace at the moment.

The Board should think of the Club interest and not selfish tips they get from tranfer markets. Let them give the younger ones opportunities to exel. Sarri is gradually walking towards his being sacked at the end of the season. The way Chelsea are playing now does not convince me they will make the top-four even when they cannot claim victory at home with a team in relegation zone. Sarri's tactics is already fading out. He does not have a winning strategy. He only relies on Hazard exclusively for Chelsea matches. Jorginho he brought to the team is not better than Bakayoko. He does mot have any winning pattern. Very soon, Arsenal and Manchester United will overtake Chelsea. There is no dynamism in their style of play. It is very shameful. Play Morata and lose the match.

i think holding the ball and having all maximum possession is not the key when the passing are not attack imtended at the start of the season we saw the real sarri ball passes touches the move the attacking play but now all we see is passes to the back that zeal to tear opponents apart is not there except the pull out made by the defenders i will give credit to kante he is the only one trying to push attack that over rated player Jorginho i dont know if he still plays with fear all i just want to say is that we shud utilize the possession and make a strong attackin run all the time create and take chances at the early part of matches so that we wont end up tryin to score at the dying minute we need goal intended attackers before things get worst frustrating night of football at the bridge

Just my opinion but look at the top 6 teams and there attacking/ dangerous players . Chelsea by far has the worst lookin attack imo excluding Hazard of course. . Spurs - Kane Son and Eriksen..even Moura n Alli Reds - Firmino Salah Mane Shaqiri and Keita United - Rashford Martial Lukaku Lingard City - Sane Aguero Sterling Debruyne Arsenal - Laca, Auba , Torreira Chelsea - Hazard maybe Willian ??? Giroud Morata cmon .. Sarri u need to make your fans happier n buy a complete striker..someone like Timo Werner/ Icardi maybe .. all the best Chelsea fans but u need a striker after todays showing. .good luck

Very painful to see Chelsea falter in a show of mediocrity. Can someone tell me what Joghino brings to this Chelsea team. What is Sarri's fascination for this guy who can't even shoot the football? Of what use is most passes in a game if they do not result in wins? Joghino gave away more balls to opposing team than any other player and I'm afraid that Sarri's over reliance on this guy to run this team may be his downfall at Chelsea. Because of him the best defensive midfielder in football is being played out of position. When will Sarri smell the coffee and make changes? This guy Joghino is too soft and uncreative to run this Chelsea team. Period!
