Chelsea and Aston Villa fined £27m and £9.5m respectively by UEFA for breaching financial rules

Aston Villa and Chelsea have been fined by UEFA for breaches of its financial rules.

Chelsea have to pay £27m and could have to pay up to £52m more if they do not stick to the four-year settlement they have agreed with UEFA.

Villa have to pay £9.5m immediately and if they violate the terms agreed over a three-year period, they could be liable to up to £13m more.

Sky Sports to show 215 live PL games from next season

From next season, Sky Sports' Premier League coverage will increase from 128 matches to at least 215 games exclusively live.

And 80 per cent of all televised Premier League games next season are on Sky Sports.
