Zouma hasnt been statistically bad. He happens to be the only defender trying to defend and if you stick yourself on the line in every challenge you're bound to make mistakes. I'd rather he get stuck in than ball watch like Christensen did for the majority of the game. Defenders that do take errors are more case for concern than ones that do cos it's clear they arent stuck in nearly enough. Even Koulibaly got errors in him tok as does VVD. Stop getting on his case cos the same Zouma last season at Everton was 1 of the best defender in the league which clearly shows the individual isnt the problem but the back line as a whole.

Zouma at his best is better than Rudiger. If not for Injruies and loan spells at bad clubs, he would have been 1 of the best CBs in the prem, he is slowly getting back to that standard. Put a leader next to him and hes worlds better than Umtiti. I dont rate Umtiti better than Zouma personally cos I've followed the player and his potential as a CB is up there with the Koulibalys.
