Chelsea are determined to perfect their players' nutrition despite coronavirus restrictions, delivering meals to their stars' cars after training.

The use of canteens by players and staff is forbidden as part of Project Restart restrictions, as clubs rush to prepare for action on June 17.

However, the Sun have reported that the Blues' kitchen staff have been preparing food while Frank Lampard and his squad are on the training pitch before leaving the meals in players' cars for them to take home.

Chelsea have been praised for their handling of the crisis, providing meals for NHS staff and opening up Stamford Bridge's facilities to aid key workers.

They'll be keen to take that positive into their next game against Aston Villa, aiming to secure the fourth place they currently occupy.

Lampard has impressed with his young squad in his first season as a top-flight manager, and Champions League qualification would be a huge success.
