Chelsea has until Friday to respond to two charges from the Football Association of being unable to control their players during the 1-1 draw at Liverpool.
Thomas Tuchel's side were left furious at the decision to send off Reece James following a handball on the line.
Referee Anthony Taylor went over to the video assistant review monitor and immediately elected to show James a straight red card which, the FA allege, led to arguments with Chelsea players that extended beyond the half-time whistle.
In a statement the FA said: 'Chelsea FC has been charged with two breaches of FA Rule E20.1 following their Premier League fixture against Liverpool FC on Saturday [28/08/21].
'It is alleged that Chelsea FC failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the 48th minute of the first half and following the half-time whistle.
'Chelsea FC has until Friday [03/09/21] to provide a response to this charge.'

Useless FA, always supporting their refs even when they're incapable. Only FIFA knows why they don't trust England referees.

They can only charge teams when the teams do wrong but what about the referees and VAR ppl when they make a poor decision?? Cause it’s not fair only the clubs getting charged. I agree with both the decision of misconduct from Chelsea team and referee’s decision was also according to the rule in Liverpool match but what about the past decisions where Anthony Taylor took decision according to his personal feelings. There is always a controversy when Anthony Taylor referees the Chelsea match which is the reason the petition to ban him for Chelsea game have be circulating through social media’s.

Never choose Anthony Taylor to officiate a Chelsea game. It's not just the Liverpool game, it has happened before.
