Chelsea are willing to let Nicolas Jackson leave Stamford Bridge before the transfer window shuts on Monday and will now consider loan proposals if they include a purchase obligation
Chelsea will now consider sanctioning a loan move for Nicolas Jackson ahead of next week's transfer deadline - if the striker's suitors are willing to commit to purchasing him in any deal.
Jackson, 24, is keen on the idea of leaving Stamford Bridge before the summer transfer window shuts next week and there are no shortage of clubs pursuing the Senegal star, who has plundered 30 goals in 81 games since becoming a Chelsea player. That includes domestic rivals with both Aston Villa and Newcastle keen on keeping Jackson in the Premier League.
It has previously been suggested that only permanent proposals would be considered by Chelsea, who have bolstered their attack with the captures of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro this summer. However, it now seems that stance has softened as we approach the transfer deadline.
The Mail report that Chelsea are prepared to entertain loan proposals for Jackson on the basis that an obligation to make the arrangement permanent is also included in a deal.
The report adds that Chelsea were hoping to delay any decision on Jackson's future until that of Newcastle's Alexander Isak had been resolved, with the saga between the Sweden international the Magpies leading to a 'striker merry-go-round' this summer.
Newcastle are among those interested in Jackson and could yet make a move with uncertainty amid the ongoing uncertainty over Isak, with Liverpool expected to launch a second bid for the striker following their 3-2 win over Newcastle at St James' Park on Monday night.
Chelsea's change in stance could boost Bayern Munich's chances of landing Jackson, though; the German champions are understood to have held talks over a loan deal in recent days. Napoli are another club who hold a live interest in Jackson.
Enzo Maresca confirmed before Friday night's win over West Ham that Jackson was among a number of players who are free to leave Chelsea. He said: "He [Jackson] is available but he is not going to be part of the squad. Because as we already said, we have two strikers, we have two players in that position and also we know that something can happen before the transfer window closes.
"Christo [Nkunku] is with us, like Nico. But it's the same answer. The other two players [Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling] are training apart, waiting for a solution. We'll see if they're going to be here, they're going to be with us.
"In case they are not here it means they have found a solution. At the end I think it's always better if they can find a solution because I think they are going to be more happy and the club the same."

Chelsea is acting like the guy is so bad, this is a complete striker. He needs proper coaching to do better, give him time but you’re treating him like he did so bad. I’m not in support of this treatment. Acting like Manchester United(Girlish attitude).
you're out of your sense, how did Chelsea treat Jackson, two good years of playing time were given to him,.. but that nor is never a problem, did Chelsea ask Jackson to leave No, it was Jackson himself that submitted transfer request that he want to leave, he's afraid of competition

Jackson can become one of the best strikers if he works on his finishing. His first touch and movement is superb. I wish he works on it

loan is okay so they will bring him back when injury crisis set in
Only thinking negative of other players. If you think the other players may have injuries, Jackson too can have injuries too. Don't think negative of others

Don’t sell Jackson, loan is a good option!! If Delap and Pedro are doing better you can always sell him next season. He is still young and has a long contract so there won’t be a shortage of buyers!! Hold on 🛑

this is good both for Chelsea and Jackson, at loan, is good, he can return stronger, than he is...
loan with obligation to buy means they have to mandatorily buy him after 1 season. so no return.
