I feel for Ampadu in all of this cos really he should have got his run in the team. Rice is very young so if he comes in it spells the end of Ampadu for sure. Rice is a great player, wouldnt say hes worth 60 million but if we get him for like 40 it's a very good acquisition especially as he brings leadership and experience along with him despite being so young. I think Chelsea future aim is a midfield 3 of Rice, Havertz and Mount which long term would be incredible but a lot of other players would be at risk of going and I dont know if it's worth losing so many players over Rice. I mean J5 and Kova going wouldnt be as bad since we can get good money for them but losing academy talents like Gilmour and Ampadu will be difficult. Balancing this squad long term will be hard if our depth is too much as well cos players will eventually be unhappy. I'm for the Rice deap but am worried about what we could lose despite what we would gain.
