CHELSEA have discussed including Nicolas Jackson as part of any deal for Newcastle's Alexander Isak.
The Blues have enquired about the availability of the Swedish striker, who is valued at over £100million.
Given the fee being demanded, a deal is unlikely to happen without any players moving the other way - and Jackson has been suggested.
The Senegal international, 23, endured a turbulent first season at Stamford Bridge, but did end the campaign with 17 goals and six assists in all competitions - bagging four in his last five Premier League games.
Jackson has been considered an important figure for the future at Chelsea, but could have to be sacrificed should a deal for Isak become possible.
Despite facing financial issues around profit and sustainability rules, Newcastle are reluctant to sell such an important player.
Eddie Howe is open to selling strike partner Callum Wilson this summer but wants to keep Isak and bolster the front line around him.
The 24-year-old struggled with injuries last season but still managed 25 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions - 21 of them coming in the league.
Newcastle are also looking to sell youngster Yankuba Minteh, with Brighton and Everton both keen.
Brighton have bid £30m while Everton are considering a swap deal for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Chelsea are also keen to sign Leicester midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
The Foxes academy graduate was also a target for Brighton, who had a bid rejected in January.
Newly promoted Leicester have already rejected one bid from West London, though Chelsea are expected to return with another offer and could also include players as part of that deal too.
Armando Broja and midfielder Cesare Casadei, who spent the first half of last season at the King Power, have been discussed.
Dewsbury-Hall was one of Enzo Maresca's key men as the Foxes won the Championship last season before the Italian left to join Chelsea.
The Blues have also completed the signing of Aston Villa youngster Omari Kellyman for £19m after Ian Maatsen moved to Villa Park in a deal worth £37.5m.

Meanwhile 81 goals have been scored at the Euros in the group stage. If FIFA removes all Goals and assists contributed by Chelsea players, it will remain 81 goals scored at the Euros.

Even if Chelsea FC spends 💷 200 000 on Alexander Isak no problem. Jackson, Modricky, Rahim Sterling, Ogochukwu, Badiashile, Chukwumeka, Badiashile, Robert Sanchez, Broja, Lukaku, Wesley Fofana,Kepa Arizabalaga, and Ben Chiwell must use the door to give room to players who will bring change and add value to the club. Wesley Fofana even if he's fit, very useless defender no difference with Badiashile. Mouldryk -will never improve at Chelsea Rahim Sterling - no longer the sterling we used to know at Liverpool and Man City respectively. Ben Chiwell - injury prone player no longer dependable Chukwumeka -injury prone flop Badiashile - weak soldier, and defender with no brain 🧠 Robert Sanchez - useless goalkeeper and useless flop Kepa Arizabalaga -not reliable Jackson - striker with no brain and useless flop. Broja - lazy striker and don't know what to do with the ball Wesley Fofana - Not dependable, injury prone defender with no brain You can't offload Chalobar and keep Wesley Fofana that's nonsense
you are the same people who Ike to criticizing players look at kante now his still perfect midfielder but you were like now he won't perform better , I don't know what's wrong with you Chelsea fans every time we are the one buying expensive players for nothing

Chelsea could lose badly if this true , Jackson is probably just steps behind isak ... isak vould become a great player but with Chelsea currently unknowing there own play style... who knows. meanwhile Jackson is actually making it work "jackson" did better than all of nunez seasons, plus mil... Newcastle wins all around. Jackson landing in Newcastle whom already knows there team playing style, if isak goes they just need a young striker to easy pressure off wilson ,plus 100mil
stats seriously, u watch epl right? ... isak knows what he's doing, he's so refine you'd mistake him for world class... Jackson is fast paced but very young and immature in his plays and decision making... which diamond would u chose, jackson or isak?

smile Isaak is striker while William is winger and what we need right now is striker not winger because we have enough wingers already and we only have one striker because to me I did not see nkunku as a striker

juckson is far much better than isak. check the stats and see. juckson is an all round player,or I should stay a complete team player. moreover, isak is so lazy, see his body language. remember this was juckson 's first season in the epl and he is also younger and energetic.

BEST DEAL EVER IN HISTORY, ISAK IS FAR BETTER THAN JACKSON
u don't know what u re talking about

pliz🙏🙏😢chelsea dont sell him...soon or later if the deal works out....u the same front managers of our club u will be looking for an alternative for isak as well....so in my opinion better sell young stars n bring isak n then keep jackson as alternative for isak...coz i am pretty sure u all know that we will not play just epl ths season but will go further to play in European leagues as well...yes isak is very good player n am sure he will improve more at Chelsea and wil bring more goalz...but incase he develops an injury, jackson can come thru n our front problems wil be solved...so as chelsea board try to analyze the strikers we hve firstly then now know who to sell NOT jackson coz this will give us a big regret....its better u keep him in the same squad with isak as his alternative!!!
