A return to Juventus looks the most likely outcome if a sale is to be sanctioned for the Italian, who is said to be keen on returning to Italy and the Serie A after a lack of game time under manager Arne Slot.
Earlier this week, Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti emphatically shut down talk of a return for Chiesa, labelling the reports as “nothing concrete.”
However, as reported by GOAL, Liverpool have named their price for the winger as they ask for around €10M for a player they paid £10M for back in August 2024.
Anfield sources maintain there has been no formal contact from the Italian side, but now a price has been named, approaches could be made now that the January transfer window is in full swing.
Chiesa originally left Juventus after a period blighted by injuries, but a return is on the cards after he continues to impress under Slot when given a chance, normally off the bench as a super sub.
However, after Liverpool missed out on Antoine Semenyo who joined Manchester City and as Mohamed Salah continues his absence away from the side, Slot will be reluctant to sell.
The 28-year-old winger is widely loved by Liverpool fans, but his lack of minutes will only push him further out the door. Juventus can offer him a bigger role and a chance to return to his homeland as the transfer saga continues.
