After the defeat against Bodo Glimt at San Siro, Inter head coach Chivu responds to the reporters' questions at post-match media conference.
How strong is the disappointment? And is there concern because the team seemed fatigued?
Chivu: "There is bitterness for the defeat. We tried to unlock it in every way, had we scored 1-0 we would have put an opponent in difficulty who defended with a tight block closing the spaces well. In the second half we lost energy and made the mistake that cost us the goal. Then we lost the distance and conceded the second goal. We have to congratulate the opponent."
Is there always a bit of arrogance in treating Norwegians?
Chivu:"The Champions League has a lot of competitiveness, there are teams that if they get to this point they have something. They showed it with Dortmund, with Atletico, with City and with us. They take advantage of the fact that they don't play and have much more energy than those who play every three days but it's not an excuse. We could have done better in Norway and tonight, it didn't go the way we wanted but that's football. You have to accept it, they beat us twice and you have to give them credit because they were better.
Have the two finals in three years deluded the environment a bit that they can go on?
Chivu: "We wanted to be competitive in the Champions League, a team like ours has a duty to do so. But then a team can arrive and prove superior to you, it doesn't matter if it's Norwegian because they have shown they have quality. You have to be aware that at this level any team can put you in difficulty if you don't express yourself at your best. My boys did their best, we couldn't unlock it and create pressure from a mental point of view."
What do you think will happen on Saturday against Genoa? Will this blow affect you?
Chivu: "We have overcome moments of difficulty by reacting because we are a mature team that wants to be competitive. You always have to be ready, the league is another competition and you have to know that no one gives you anything and you have to be the best version of the day. Saturday will be an important match."

When they beat inter in Norway, the excuse was bad weather in Norway. Now they have done it in Italy. Let us give credit to the opponents.

I'm afraid of Arsenal facing this bodo team, because they look very sharp and smarter than my Arsenal. only a club that could stop them developing their game tactics could put them in difficult situations, and for now I don't see Arsenal there.

Chelsea rested well before playing Burnley and what was the result? Football is not just about you being strong physically and tactically but you must also strong mentally. Bodo played well and getting the results because they are tactically, physically and mentally prepared. Good luck to them as they continue showing strengths in this competition.
