On February 27, the UEFA Champions League knockout stage draw was finalized, pitting FK Bodø/Glimt against Sporting CP.
This will be their first-ever meeting in the Champions League and the first encounter between the two sides in history. Notably, the winner will become the first non-Big-5 league team to reach the Champions League quarterfinals in three seasons. The last side to achieve this feat was Benfica in the 2022/23 campaign.
