it just not about rodri it about motivation and hunger too since city won ucl last season now they dont have ucl in the back of their mind anymore usually club perform average after winning the ucl the next season so its is normal city performing average since they are not motivated like last season they will take time to get their motivation level for winning trophies it always happens with every ucl winning club

I've always told people who loved to hear and have the mind to understand that since 2020, Rodri has been the heart of Guadiola's tactics. De Bruyne is good for the assists... Gundogan was good for the pressure/line play. But Rodri is good for all, passes, interception, blocking, build up, assists and every. He is Busquet in Guardiola's Barca and Lahm of his Munchen's team, and he plays this role more better than the two...

I think it's that time Halland must be benched, he doesn't offer much more as expected when games get tough. Julian Alvarez plays much better than Halland and offers more in big games but the problem is Pep Guardiola decisions he opts to play him as a winger which restricts his performances. In yesterday's game if Julian Alvarez had played on Halland's position, Stones in Lewis position and Jack Grealish played as a winger we would have destroyed Arsenal. We need a double 6. U can't play with one defending midfield and expect to dominate the game. Stones would have helped a lot if had started with Kovacic to play a double 6 with him.
