Napoli transfer target James Rodriguez could be offered to Paris Saint-Germain as part of Real Madrid’s proposal for Neymar.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Barcelona are no longer the favourites to bring Neymar back to La Liga, but rather he could join Real Madrid.

The bid would consist of €160m plus Colombia international midfielder James Rodriguez.

PSG had requested Isco, Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior or Raphael Varane, but Real Madrid are not prepared to let them go.

Keylor Navas is still an option to be included in the exchange ahead of the transfer deadline on September 2.

Barcelona effectively pulled out when they agreed to loan Philippe Coutinho to Bayern Munich with option to buy.
