Sergio Ramos will be looking to make history once again as Spain take on minnows the Faroe Islands in Asturias.
It is unlikely that Spain will come away with any result other than a win on Sunday at El Molinon, and each one continues to add to the captain's legendary status.
Ramos has participated in more winning matches for his country than anyone in history and, against the Faroe Islands, he will equal the amount of caps won by the great Iker Casillas.
The Real Madrid defender will collect his 167th cap, which is nine off Gianluigi Buffon's European record, and 17 away from world record-holder Ahmed Hassan.
But Ramos won't stop there. Having scored 21 goals for Spain, and eight since the 2018 World Cup in Russia, he could equal the record of the most prolific international defender of all time.
The Argentine Daniel Alberto Passarella, who hit the back of the net 22 times for his country in 70 games.
His compatriots were quick to praise the Real Madrid star's impact for La Roja over the years, with central midfielder Sergio Busquets labelling his achievements as "brutal", whilst Spain head coach Robert Moreno stated that "every day he surprises me more as a person".
Danish coach Lars Olsen, who is in charge of the Faroe Islands, gave a more mixed assessment of Ramos.
"I admire him, but sometimes his style is too aggressive and rough. He could avoid receiving so many red and yellow cards."
Indeed, Spain's talisman will be hoping for a repeat of the day he scored against Finland in 2013, as he continues to break records left, right and centre.

I think Ramos should appreciate mourinho more for moving him from right back to central defence. with his age now he lacks pace to play right back.
