'Clones' of Saka, Rice, & Smith Rowe! Arsenal U-21s score sensational goal

Arsenal are creating clones of a host of first-team players, social media users have joked, after their U-21 side scored a sensational team goal against Stoke City.

The academy outfit drew 2-2 in their Premier League 2 match earlier this week, with promising youngsters Amario Cozier-Duberry and Ethan Nwaneri both on target.

Their second goal, an effort that clinched them a point, was superbly worked, with the ball being knocked from back to front before Nwaneri curled into the corner.

However, eagle-eyed Instagram users have spotted eerie similarities between the movements of several of the youth players and the established senior superstars.

In a clip of the goal, a player resembling Emile Smith Rowe rolled a pass to centre back Taylor Foran, who has been compared by several accounts to Declan Rice.

He then sprayed the ball out wide to tricky winger Amario Cozier-Duberry, whose trickery in possession and small stature have led to comparisons with Bukayo Saka.

Cozier-Duberry shifted the ball on to his left foot and teed up Nwaneri on the edge of the penalty area, with the No 10 then bending brilliantly past the goalkeeper.

Nwaneri, courtesy of his position and finish, has been likened to Martin Odegaard.

Several users have been left in disbelief by the traits shared by both sets of players.

'Nah, the Rice and Saka movements were exactly the same,' one account said.

Another wrote: 'Bro, he's moving exactly like Bukayo. It's actually scary.'

A third posted: 'Nah, that is 100 per cent a Saka clone.'

'I thought that was Saka,' said a fourth.

A fifth added: 'I didn't even notice it wasn't the senior team.'
