Closest derby in history: Paris stars can reach opponents’ stadium on foot

The Paris FC vs PSG derby is said to be one of the closest derbies in the world football, as both team is just 20-44 meters aparts.

Here's how it all started, In 1969 Paris FC was founded  after a year it merged with Stade Saint-Germain to create PSG.

However, the union was not successful. Which made PSG got relegated to Division 3 while Paris FC remained in league 1 in 1972, Two years later PSG got promoted to League 1 while Paris FC was relegated. The two teams had their first derby in 1978-1979 season.
