After Marcelino has successfully turned things around at the Estadio Mestalla in the second half of the season, club president, Anil Murthy, has made clear the club want to be feared once again.
A difficult start to the campaign has left Los Che requiring other teams around them to slip up in order for the club to qualify for the Champions League for the second successive year.
"We want to be feared again," Murthy confirmed at the unveiling of a Valencia themed beer celebrating the club's centenary.
"In the coming four weeks we will play seven finals, hopefully eight, success is not by chance, we've signed some great players and they've improved the team.
"We are going to continue fighting in each of these matches that we have left in order to write another chapter in the history of this club."
