Kolo Muani spent the second-half of last season - including the Club World Cup run - on-loan with Juve from PSG.
A permanent deal was expected to be a formality this summer, but nothing is yet settled.
As it stands, Kolo Muani faces staying in Paris and Comolli said this morning: "We spoke with PSG, but we haven't gone beyond chit-chat. I don't know what will happen. Anything can happen between now and Monday.
"We have to be very careful with our money, especially because of the Financial Fair Play rules. We know we'll have financial problems in 2025/26 and especially in 2026/27, so we have to be careful how we spend every single euro. Randal and other top strikers cost a lot. We already have two very good ones.
"Dusan Vlahovic is staying with us, even though the newspapers said otherwise, and we're very happy to have signed Jonathan David from Lille, who cost us nothing. We're happy with these two."
