Robert Lewandowski has been voted the best outfield player of the first half of the season by his fellow Bundesliga professionals.
A total of 239 of Lewandowski's peers took part in the traditional survey by German sports magazine Kicker, with almost half of them (44.7%) giving their vote to the league's top goalscorer.
Goals on each of the first 11 matchdays, moving up to third place in the all-time scorers list and much more - Robert Lewandowski hit numerous milestones during the first half of this season.
Lewandowski plundered a whopping 19 goals in the first 17 matches of the campaign, scoring every 78 minutes on average. The Polish forward finished well ahead of Timo Werner of RB Leipzig (14.6%) and Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho (6.7 %) in the survey to claim the honour for the third time.
Meanwhile, Manuel Neuer took second place among the goalkeepers. The FCB captain attracted 10.9% of the votes, behind Borussia Mönchengladbach's Yann Sommer (38.9%).

Some people said Ronaldo is over in 2010. And then we saw him winning 4 more Ballondor, 4 UCL and 2 international trophies. 😂😂 Ronaldo is not Lewy. If he starts to settle in its goals gallore. He is just settling with Sarri and Juve. That man won't stop until 37/38
Just accept that Juventus is not Real Madrid and Ronaldo is not what he used to be. His numbers prove this. He's still amazing. But he's no longer delivering the highest level of output. He did not come close to challenging Messi's 70 goals and assists last season. He's already lagging behind Messi's 24 goals and assists when Ronaldo's played more games. Even Messi is no longer leading the way. It's time to face facts. Ronaldo's in decline and Messi isn't far off. I'm not saying they won't be amazing players. I'm saying they won't be what they were. Messi doesn't have many more 50 plus goal and assists season in him. Ronaldo has even less in the tank. Time comes for every footballer. No matter how good they are.

Ronaldo got 43 goal contributions in 09/10. Then 70 in 54 in 10/11. How is it over when a 25 year old gets 43 goals and assists, at that time, his second best return ever? That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard about Ronaldo.

... Ronaldo isn't what he used to be. He got 40ish goals AND assists in 18/19. His decline is obvious. He's nearly 35 for god sake. Lewa almost has as many goal contributions in half the season that Ronaldo managed in the whole of 18/19. If you do not see that Ronaldo has declined, you're blind. Also, Lewandowski had the most UCL goals behind Messi last season and the.most goal contributions in all competitions behind Messi last season. That's more than once. Messi COULD catch him in goal contributions. COULD. But again, if Lewa keeps his form as it is, no one will catch him. He's having the kind of season that Messi and Ronaldo are known for. Ronaldo is almost 35. Your blind faith will not be rewarded. Ronaldo is 6 goals off Immobile in Serie A. Immobile also has more assists. Ronaldo didn't get to 50 goal contributions last season, I think he had 41 or 42. That's goals and assists in all comps. Messi, Mbappe and Lewa were over 50. The simple fact is Ronaldo is declining. Last season was underwhelming by his standards. This season has started much the same way. He's been at the top for so long, father time is catching up. That's the simple fact of it. Lewandowski has literallt twice as many goals and twice as many assists as Ronaldo, even though he's only.played two more games. Lewandowski is having an AMAZING season. Ronaldo is having a good season. Messi has 24 goals and assists in 19 games. That's insane. But Lewa has 34 in 24. NUTS. Ronaldo's 17 in 22 doesn't compare. If Lewa did not play another game, Ronaldo would, at current rate, take the second half of the season to catch up with him. That's a HUGE difference. 17 goals and assists is HUGE. It's a 15 goal difference. Are you telling me you think Ronaldo will score 15 more goals than Lewa in the last half of the season? In the so called 'best defensive league' (which simply isn't accurate, stats say no) in a team that isnt scoring a lot of goals? When Lewa is literally scoring for fun no matter the opposition? It's not happening. Ronaldo is declining and as much as I admire and respect his brilliance, it's time people accept that.

Cristiano Ronaldo had 4 goals in the group stage in 2017/18. After the competition he finished with 15 goals in UCL. Same way he just had 13 goals in the La liga and he finished the Same season with 38 goals. Messi also had done such things. Lewy is a one time thing. Messi an Ronaldo does that every year.

Lewandowski has 10 in the UCL. Messi and Ronaldo both only have 2. Lewandowski has 19 in the league. Messi and Ronaldo have 13. AND the Bundesliga has only has 17 games. Ronaldo has had little consistency for Juevntus this season. Barcelona as a whole are entirely inconsistent, including Messi. Yet Bayern have been playing poorly, they are not top of the league but Lewa simply continues to score. He cannot be stopped. Ronaldo has 15 goals and 2 assists in 22 games in all comps. Messi has 15 goals and 9 assists in 19 games in all comps. Lewa has 30 goals and 4 assists in 24 games in all comps. Ronaldo will not catch him. Messi is highly unlikely too. Simply put Ronaldo and Messi have been inconsistent. Lewandowski has simply been the best forward in the world this season. Untouchable in that regard. No one has come close.

The Lewangoalski is the strong conteder for next Ballon d or
... No he isn't... Ballon d'or is a YEARLY award. 2020 only just started. Of he continues in this form? Possibly. Should definitely be in the conversation. But 2020 only just started. No one is in with a shot at the Ballon D'or yet and the first person to have a big shot will be the best player from the UCL winning side.

Ronaldo have risen from the dead. Messi is injury free. Now let’s see what happens in the 2nd half of the season.
Unless Lewa gets injured, which doesn't seem to happen ever, he is a fitness king, he is going to blow everyone else out of the water this season. He's been absolutely unplayable.
