Neymar not in top form and the lack of Dani Alves in the WC made it hard for Tite to make the team work.
Well i’ll tell you one thing he also didnt make it easier on himself on replacing Alves by selecting Fagner over Militao and Fabinho last year...
Yeah he has his problems but overall he is a decent manager.

I am brazilian and I dont consider it a big failure. Belgium had a team as strong as ours. A big failure would be losing in the group stages or conceding 7 goals. Losing against belgium in the knock out against Hazard, De Bruyne, Lukaku and Cortouis all playing on the top of their game is hardly a failure

I haven't exactly followed his career, but I've never heard anyone call Scolari pragmatic
We mostly played with a back 3 under him and he would always favour the players loyal to him, keeping the locker room on a tight grip always, which was known at the time as Família Scolari.
Our attack was prolific because, let's face it, if you have Rivaldo, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, you're basically set, but our side was a very much conservative one in 2002.
He is certainly closer to Mourinho in style than to Pep, IMO.
