Copa del Rey win leaves question marks over some Barcelona players

Quique Setien switched his Barcelona team up for the trip to Ibiza as he mixed senior pros with a handful of fringe players.

While Antoine Griezmann made the difference, not all those that played made such positive impacts on the game.

First-team regulars Ivan Rakitic and Nelson Semedo weren't particularly impressive, while youngsters Riqui Puig and Carles Perez didn't take their chance to shine.

The Portuguese played at right wing-back and looked completely lost. He didn't bring much in either defence or attack.

Riqui Puig

The midfielder has to keep making strides forward in matches like these, but he didn't. He didn't control the game as he would've hoped and was substituted.

Carles Perez

It wasn't Carles Perez's night either. He didn't pose much attacking threat to the Ibiza goal and was the first player to be substituted. The academy graduate didn't play in his usual position out wide, but in a more central role alongside Griezmann. It didn't suit him.

Junior Firpo

He was lost in a back three and Jordi Alba's introduction at his expense changed the game in Barcelona's favour.

Rakitic

It was one of his poorest performances in recent months. He had to impose his authority on the game and control the tempo, but he didn't do it and was the last to be substituted.
