Leo Messi was given a hero's reception as Barcelona arrived in Cordoba ahead of their Supercopa de Espana semi final against Real Sociedad.

The coronavirus couldn't stop droves of fans turning up to welcome the Argentine superstar and his teammates.

Barcelona face Real Sociedad on Wednesday night at 21:00 CET, before Real Madrid take on Athletic Club on Thursday at the same time.
