Corriere dello Sport: Dybala will extend his contract with Roma for three years

A two- or three-year contract is in Paulo Dybala's future.

Although discussions between the club and his entourage have not yet officially begun, the topic of renewing a contract that expires on June 30 has been on sporting director Massara's agenda for weeks. For good intentions to translate into concrete action, the following must happen: Dybala continues to be physically fit and impact the team's results, accepts a salary reduction that currently stands at €8 million net, and resists the temptation to move to Argentina to end his career there.

On the second and third points, the player already appears to be firmly convinced, as he will become a father in February and would like to raise his daughter in Rome. Furthermore, Paulo is a recognized leader by everyone: from fans to sponsors, including the coach. The conditions for a breakthrough are in place. When his agent Novel arrives in Rome in the next few weeks, the real negotiations will begin.
