Cristiano Ronaldo has knocked back all suggestion that he is in any way similar to Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.
The two are set to go head to head in the Champions League final on Saturday night in Kiev.
Both players have enjoyed blistering European seasons, with Ronaldo leading the way in the goal-scoring charts.
Salah's incredible debut season at Liverpool - winning both PFA Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year - has seen his name drawn in the same breath as the likes of Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
In the build-up to the Kiev clash Ronaldo has been asked repeatedly about the threat of Salah, and has now come out to say he doesn't see any other footballer in the game who is similar to himself.
'We are completely different. People want to compare me with other players but I’m different from everyone,' Ronaldo said, as reported by Metro.
'He is completely different. He plays with the left, I play with the right. I’m tall he’s a little bit shorter, I play with the head.
'Salah is different but I have to say he has had a fantastic Champions League a fantastic league season, but Saturday, let’s see.'
Egypt international Salah has enjoyed a record breaking first season at Anfield, scoring 44 goals in all competitions and taking claim to the most successful debut season in Premier League history.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, endured a quiet start to the season but soon kicked into life, scoring 24 goals in 25 domestic appearances for Madrid.
The 32-year-old leads the way with the scoring stakes in the Champions League this season, with 15 goals.
Salah and team-mate Roberto Firmino both sit in second in the chart after scoring 10 goals each this season in Europe.

You can't compare Ronaldo to salah just in one season.. The both are wonderful and kind players but salah will need extra few years to achieve what Ronaldo has done maybe if he moves to real Madrid

No way can you compare the three of them. Messi and Ronaldo are greats of the game. Tons of accolades between them. Salah will grow and become a great but its to early now...

It’s simply unbelievable how CR7 has managed to be to in such good conditions at the age of 33 and he hasn’t shown any sign of slowing down any time soon. So In this regard I CR7 definitely prevails over the Egyptian. Just look at how Liverpool beat the shit out of Manchester city...Liverpool shall not be underestimated anyway.
