Cristiano Ronaldo's made a stop in Barcelona. Juventus' Portugal star travelled to the Catalan city for further tests on his injury, RAC1 have revealed.

Ronaldo, 34, was injured during Portugal's game against Serbia this week. The former Real Madrid forward has since said he will be back in action soon and it's nothing serious, while Juve have also played down the problem.

According to the latest tests, Ronaldo has a 'minor thigh injury'. However, to confirm the extent of the injury he decided to seek a second medical opinion in Barcelona.

Early indications are that he will miss three games, but that he will be back for the Champions League quarterfinal first leg against Ajax Amsterdam.

In Italy, they excitedly point out that he missed four games in 2014 before helping Real Madrid win La Decima. They're hoping history will repeat itself in Turin.
