Cristiano Ronaldo signs deal in Italy to promote blood donation

Juventus have been strongly linked with Cristiano Ronaldo over the past week, so eyes have been raised at the fact that the player has agreed a deal with an Italian association that promotes blood donation.

A collaborative contract has been signed with the Associazione Volontari Italiani Sangue (AVIS), the Italian Blood Volunteering Association, in Bellano.

They reached an agreement over Ronaldo's image rights with US entity Abbott, who have rights to a worldwide campaign.

As a result, Ronaldo's image will appear in a series of posters urging people to donate blood.

Furthermore, AVIS will soon release a video in which the Portuguese forward explains the importance of giving blood.

News of this collaboration has been a big deal in Italy, as the player is shortly expected to move to the country to join Juventus.
