In his first appearance since requesting to leave Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo got a warm welcome from the Old Trafford crowd.

The Portuguese player led Manchester United out for their pre-match warm-up against Rayo Vallecano, and applauded the fans, who responded with the same gesture.

After rumours that he was on his way out of the club, Cristiano Ronaldo reappeared for United's home game against f, and that was the main attraction of the match.

Some fans even went so far as to give him him a standing ovation as they were clearly putting aside his possible departure.
